OUR STORY
Founded in South Africa by mother-daughter duo Marina and Chelaine, the Mariché journey began in 2010 after Marina sought treatment for excessive facial hyper-pigmentation and regular breakouts. Harsh chemical treatments typically recommended for the treatment of irregular pigmentation left Marina's skin sensitised and dehydrated, with visibly enlarged pores.
Determined to find a gentler way to effectively treat her own skin concerns without the side effects, Marina and Chelaine spent countless hours studying the functions and benefits of ingredients typically used in skincare products. They were dumbfounded by the amount of harsh, toxic ingredients used in everyday beauty products. Focusing their research on natural alternatives, they discovered that the African continent is home to some of the most nutrient dense natural resources in the world!
With the help of highly experienced cosmetic formulators specialising in natural skincare, they were able to combine powerful indigenous plant extracts with scientifically backed, naturally derived active ingredients, producing a skincare system that truly performs.
Mariché is a true labour of love for Marina and Chelaine and they remain personally involved in the research, development and manufacturing of each and every product.
