Saturate a cotton pad with the Brightening Skin Tonic and apply to face and neck after cleansing in the morning and/or evening. Follow with a serum or moisturiser.
Glycolic Acid: A type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), Glycolic Acid is known for its exfoliating properties. It works by loosening the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to slough off more easily, revealing smoother and brighter skin underneath. Due to its small molecules which allows it to easily penetrate the skin, Glycolic Acid also stimulates collagen production, helping to improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Lactic Acid: Another AHA, Lactic Acid is a gentle exfoliating agent which also hydrates the skin by attracting moisture to itself. It helps to improve skin tone and texture, diminish the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation, and reduce the signs of aging. Lactic Acid is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Aloe Ferox: The Cape Aloe, native to South Africa’s diverse habitats, is hailed as a “miracle plant” for its potent healing properties. Although related to the well known Aloe Vera, this variant is far more powerful, boasting 20 times the potency and a much richer nutrient profile.
